Monroe Consulting Group is collaborating with a prominent regulatory body in the financial services sector, in search for a tech talent. Our client is looking for a M365 - Lead Architect.
This role is to lead and ensure the optimal performance, security, and governance of the corporation’s Microsoft 365 environment.
The M365 lead architect has strong experience in M365 solutions (Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint)
, and knowledgeable in Power Automate and Power Apps
, be comfortable working with diverse stakeholders, and play a key role in driving business transformation.
Job Description:
Architecture and Design:
Lead the design and implementation of M365 solutions (Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint), ensuring they align with business needs, security, and performance standards. Develop scalable architectures with high availability, disaster recovery, and optimization.
Administration and Configuration:
Manage M365 services, including licensing, security, and policy configuration. Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to implement identity management solutions like MFA, Conditional Access, and SSO.
Governance, Security and Compliance:
Coordinate with security team on implementing MS Purview including setup, configuration, scanning and cataloguing across cloud and hybrid environments.
Collaboration, Knowledge Sharing and End-User Support:
Provide support, training, guidance, knowledge-sharing and troubleshooting for users, while drive new M365 features adoption and solutions, promoting self-service and collaboration. Work with various teams for seamless integration of cloud solutions.
Power Platform Support:
Assist and maintain business solutions using Power Platform (Power App and Power Automate) to automate and improve business processes. Integrate solutions with Microsoft 365 services.
Monitoring and Reporting:
Monitor M365 performance, health, and usage to meet SLAs. Generate reports on system performance, security compliance, and resource utilization, offering recommendations for improvements.
Project Management:
Support corporate and divisional initiatives by ensuring system security, availability, and performance, while managing environments through upgrades and capacity planning.
Possesses knowledge and hands-on experience in implementing Microsoft 365 deployments aligned with the SDLC.
Contribute to designing and maintaining disaster recovery solutions for M365 services, monitoring systems to meet recovery time objectives (RTO) and recovery point objectives (RPO).
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 7 years of experience in Microsoft 365 services, with proven support experience on MS Purview and Power Platform.
- Proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing M365 services.
- Hands-on experience in implementing MS Purview and Power Platform with other M365 services.
- Strong knowledge in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration of M365.
- Deep knowledge of Multi-Factor Authentication, Conditional Access and Azure AD Connect
- Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
