Description
A Silicon Valley Start-up is seeking a Product Design Manager to drive design strategy, alignment, and execution across next-generation EV motorcycle platforms.
This is a highly strategic role working at the intersection of design, product, and engineering, partnering closely with internal leadership and automotive stakeholders. The successful candidate will help shape not only the product experience but also how teams collaborate across a complex global ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic design partner to Product and Engineering leadership to shape product vision and roadmap
- Serve as a key design point of contact, ensuring clear communication of product and design intent
- Apply systems thinking to connect user research, design, engineering, and business goals
- Drive alignment across cross-functional teams in a complex hardware + software ecosystem
- Support and enable the design team by improving processes, collaboration, and clarity
- Contribute to organizational transformation through design thinking and structured problem solving
- Ensure user-centric design principles are embedded across product decisions
Required Skills
- Strong experience in product design, UX, service design, or related fields
- Experience working in complex product, platform, or enterprise environments
- Proven ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders across design, product, and engineering
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain design intent clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong systems thinking and ability to navigate cross-functional and organizational complexity
- Experience working in cross-cultural environments, ideally bridging global teams and Japanese stakeholders
- Ability to operate strategically while supporting execution and team alignment
- Portfolio required (mandatory to show past works)

Working Hours : 9:00 - 18:00 (Mon-Fri)
