A Global IT services company is seeking an experienced ITBS Delivery Leader (VP level).
This is an exciting opportunity based in Tokyo to serve as the ITBS Japan Regional Delivery Head. In this role, you will oversee the overall delivery portfolio for multiple clients within the region, leading Engagement Managers and Delivery Executives.
Responsibilities
- Establish and operate an effective delivery governance framework across the entire portfolio, collaborating with Engagement Managers, Delivery Executives, and Account Executives across business units
- Lead comprehensive compliance with internal and external quality standards, including cybersecurity, data protection, business continuity, ISO, IM8, and other regulatory requirements
- Oversee risk management, issue resolution, and delivery status monitoring and reporting
- Manage financial performance with a strong focus on cost optimization and revenue realization
- Drive customer satisfaction across projects and engagements within the portfolio
- Manage commercial and contract matters with a solid understanding of contract law fundamentals
- Lead team management, talent development, and succession planning initiatives
- Handle conflicts and escalations at all levels of delivery
- Promote productivity improvements and continuous enhancement of internal processes and external delivery through automation and industrialization tools
- Actively participate in strategic initiatives across Japan and global business lines, including quality reviews, certifications, capability development, and business expansion
- Build and scale delivery capabilities both domestically in Japan and offshore to support business growth
- Expand the delivery partner and alliance ecosystem
- Build and maintain relationships related to procurement, talent acquisition, Centers of Excellence (CoE), and partner programs
- Manage commercial and contractual aspects within the portfolio, leveraging strong contract management knowledge
- Evaluate and approve deals, transactions, and contracts
- Focus on maximizing customer ROI, emphasizing value creation and financial impact
- Demonstrate strong understanding and execution of delivery profitability improvement
Required Skills
- Experience in program, project, or service management within a global IT services or technology consulting company
- Proven track record managing large-scale engagements from presales through delivery in areas such as digital transformation, CX, web, mobile, cloud, data analytics, AI, automation, IT infrastructure, and enterprise applications
- End-to-end governance experience covering deal evaluation, solution review, program launch, delivery execution, and contract closure
- Practical experience managing financial processes from estimation through invoicing
- Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Solid understanding of both functional and technical domains, with strong business acumen and commercial management capability
- Demonstrated success in identifying new business opportunities and building client relationships

Working Hours: 9:00–18:00 (Monday–Friday)
Working Style : Hybrid
