Description
A leading global technology company is looking for an experienced IT Strategy Lead to join its newly established CIO Office and drive enterprise-wide IT strategy, governance, portfolio management, and transformation initiatives. Working closely with the CIO and senior executives, you will help optimize IT investments, strengthen governance, improve operational efficiency, and establish data-driven decision-making across a large-scale technology organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute enterprise-wide IT strategy, governance, and transformation initiatives
- Drive IT portfolio management, investment prioritization, and ROI optimization across large-scale IT budgets
- Improve IT cost visibility and optimization, including cloud and software licensing costs
- Support standardization of IT infrastructure and migration toward modern development and operating environments
- Drive resource management initiatives, including skills visibility, resource allocation, and development planning
- Establish data-driven management practices and executive dashboards using BI tools
- Work closely with the CIO, CTOs, VPoEs, finance, HR, product teams, and external partners
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and governance programs to align technology strategy with business strategy
- Support CIO Office strategy, KPI management, and organizational development
- Communicate with global stakeholders through meetings, presentations, documentation, and day-to-day collaboration
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in IT strategy, IT consulting, or building frameworks and processes within IT organizations
- Experience driving enterprise-wide IT governance or strategic transformation initiatives
- Experience with IT investment, portfolio, budget, or operating model management in a large-scale organization
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work directly with CIOs, senior executives, and cross-functional leadership
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic business perspective

Location: Tokyo
Work Style: Hybrid, generally 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home
Working Hours: 9:00–17:30
Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, year-end/New Year holidays, paid leave, and other special holidays
