Description
An Asset Management is seeking a bilingual Infrastructure Engineer to join a Tokyo based team responsible for servers, networks, storage, cloud services, security, monitoring, and providing support to build and operate an integrated environment across worldwide office locations including Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Singapore, Hong Kong, Auckland, London, Edinburgh, and New York.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, operate, and improve our IT infrastructure (on-premises and cloud environments)
- Manage servers, networks, storage, and virtualization environments (e.g., Azure)
- Implement security measures and manage vulnerabilities
- Monitor systems, respond to incidents, and troubleshoot issues
- Provide global support through collaboration with overseas offices
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of experience building and operating Windows Server and network environments
- Experience building, configuring, operating Microsoft Azure PaaS/IaaS and VMware environments
- Experience building and operating Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience applying security patches, responding to vulnerabilities, and formulating and complying with IT standards
- Ability to create documentation, develop procedure manuals, and share knowledge
