Description

A Global Automotive firm  is seeking an experienced Identity Access Management Architect to design, build, and lead the transition to a new enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) platform.
This role is highly strategic and hands-on, combining architecture design, migration leadership, provider coordination, and long-term operational ownership. Rather than focusing on a single IAM product, the position requires a professional capable of designing a robust, future-ready identity platform aligned with business and security objectives. You will work closely with global technical teams and external partners while leading a core infrastructure capability for the organization

Responsibilities:
- Define the architecture and grand design of the new enterprise IAM platform based on mid- to long-term business and security requirements.
- Evaluate and select appropriate IAM technologies and patterns without being restricted to specific tools or vendors.
- Design scalable and resilient identity governance, authentication, authorization, and access control models.
- Ensure alignment between IAM architecture, security policies, and overall IT infrastructure strategy
- Lead separation and migration initiatives from the existing shared environment to the new IAM infrastructure.
- Design and oversee data migration, system integration, and cutover processes to ensure continuity and security.
- Provide technical direction and architectural guidance to external partners, including system integrators and service providers.
- Manage scope, timelines, risks, and quality considerations related to IAM transformation activities.
- Establish and assume architectural and product ownership for enterprise datacenter services within the organization.
- Establish sustainable operational processes and governance structures for the new IAM environment.
- Define monitoring, SLA, and service quality frameworks to support long-term operational stability.
- Identify optimization opportunities and incorporate evolving technology and security trends.
- Ensure smooth transition from project phase to steady-state operations.
- Collaborate with overseas technical teams to understand legacy mechanisms and integrate best practices into the new model.
- Coordinate with domestic and international stakeholders across business, security, and IT functions.
- Translate complex technical and governance topics into business-relevant discussions for non-technical stakeholders.
- Build strong working relationships with vendors, providers, and internal teams.

Required Skills:
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in IT, with strong exposure to Identity & Access Management (IAM), infrastructure architecture, or security-related platforms.
- Proven experience designing, implementing, or supporting enterprise-scale IAM or infrastructure solutions within complex IT environments.
- Solid understanding of core IAM concepts, including identity governance, authentication, authorization, and access control models.
- Hands-on involvement in infrastructure implementation, migration, or transformation initiatives, beyond purely administrative or coordination roles.
- Practical knowledge of hybrid IT environments, including on-premise, cloud, and network-integrated systems.
- Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) principles such as SLA management, change management, and operational governance.

Why should you apply:
- Opportunity to contribute directly to the evolution of enterprise-scale infrastructure within a globally recognized commercial vehicle manufacturer
- Strategic involvement in enterprise datacenter modernization initiatives
- High-impact role combining architecture, migration, and product ownership
- Close collaboration with global IT and infrastructure organizations
- Exposure to complex, business-critical technology environments
- Stable, globally respected organization with long-term technology investments
