Description
A Global IT Service is looking for a Full-stack Engineer, responsible for an engineering role within the Product Master Group.
Responsibilities :
Manages product data, which is standardized and identified data for commodity (item) data in order to enable end-users to search more smoothly with structured / organized data. This role involves full-stack responsibility for the Product Master Group's data infrastructure and products, including design, development, testing, and operations. More experienced candidates will also contribute to requirements definition and system design.
Required Skills :
- 4+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering with a focus on data.
- Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework (version 1.8 or higher).
- Experience with unit testing (e.g., JUnit) and performance-conscious coding
- Experience with creating batch application using spring boot
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL,) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Hbase)
- Solid understanding of database schema design, SQL tuning, and performance evaluation.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and related services (e.g., Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Functions, Bigtable, BigQuery) and Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
