Description
A Foreign airline communications firm is looking for a Field Services Technician in Haneda Airport. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Managing Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets on system operations (server and networks)
- Regular communication with the customer on site progress and take any action for deficiencies
- Serve as customer liaison and point of contact for all key activities with a variety of airlines and airport authority customers. This includes but is not limited to the following: airline upgrades, Airport System (CUPPS and Biometric Passenger Processing System) hardware relocation for airport gate and/or check-in counter expansion, ensuring continual compliance and reporting of service level performance, escalations, and ensuring corporate procedures/expectations are compliant
- Develop on-site policies and procedures
- Promote continual quality improvements and development of quality control programs
- Documentation for develop training material and perform training sessions for system users
- Meet regularly with the airport and airlines to review the current service performance, present reports on equipment and service reliability and any other general topics for discussion
- Given security clearance to work in any area of the airport where supported equipment is located
- Prepare system operational manuals and documentation
- A liaise between local team and US engineering division
- On a monthly basis, collecting system usage date for billing to the customer
- Adhoc projects assigned
Required Skills:
- Understanding or willingness to learn about airport operations
- +2 years’ experience in IT Network or as desktop support (mainly Windows OS experience)

Working Style: Shift work 24/7 (8 hours per shift + 1 hr break) x 5 days week
