A US Semiconductor firm is looking for an experienced Fab IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to join the Fab Integrated Technology Services (FITS) team.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, operate, and support Linux and Windows servers
- Support IT infrastructure and application environments from the initial product development stage through production deployment
- Provide technical support for EI-DH and related applications
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, customer Fab teams, and customer IT departments
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application-related issues
- Support virtualized environments and server infrastructure
- Create and maintain scripts using PowerShell where required
- Support basic network-related troubleshooting and infrastructure activities
- Maintain antivirus and malware protection environments
- Work with global teams and customers to ensure stable infrastructure operations
- Contribute to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction
Required Skills:
- 3–4+ years of hands-on Linux Server operational experience is strongly required
- Experience with Linux environments such as CentOS and/or Ubuntu
- Actual server operation, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and support experience is important
- Ability to work with cross-functional engineering teams to identify root causes and implement solutions
