Description
A Global IT Service Provider is looking for an Development & Testing Engineer (dSPACE Hardware & Software) with hands-on experience in dSPACE hardware and software tools. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating embedded control systems, ensuring high-quality delivery for automotive and industrial applications.
Responsibilities:
- Perform development and testing activities using dSPACE HW & SW platforms (e.g., ControlDesk, AutomationDesk, SCALEXIO, MicroAutoBox)
- Design, implement, and validate HIL (Hardwarein-the-Loop) and SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) test setups
- Develop test cases, execute automated test scripts, and analyze results
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (software developers, system engineers, validation teams) to ensure robust system integration
- Troubleshoot issues in embedded systems and provide corrective actions
- Document test procedures, results, and maintain compliance with industry standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE)
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of dSPACE tools (ControlDesk, AutomationDesk, ConfigurationDesk, etc.)
- Experience with HIL/SIL testing frameworks
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for modelbased development
- Familiarity with CAN, LIN, FlexRay communication protocols
- Handson experience with embedded systems testing in automotive or industrial domains
- Good understanding of C/C++ or Python for test automation
- Strong analytical and proble msolving skills
