A Real Estate management and residential leading business is seeking a bilingual Deputy Head of IT (IT Strategy & Operations Manager).
This position reports directly to the Head of IT and is responsible for supporting and leading a broad range of activities across the entire IT organization.

Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of IT in executing IT strategy, managing priorities, and driving department initiatives
- Coordinate executive reporting, IT meetings, risk management, and continuous process improvement
- Act as a key liaison between IT leadership, business stakeholders, and external partners
- Lead and support IT projects from planning through delivery, including scope definition, scheduling, risk management, testing, and deployment
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
- Establish project governance, reporting, and knowledge management practices
- Analyze business requirements, workflows, and operational challenges to identify improvement opportunities
- Drive system enhancements, automation initiatives, and process optimization
- Translate business needs into clear requirements and actionable IT solutions
- Strengthen IT governance, security controls, policies, and operational procedures
- Support identity management, access controls, IT asset management, audits, and risk management
- Improve security posture across Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, endpoints, and data protection
- Promote effective use of Microsoft 365, cloud services, automation tools, and AI technologies
- Identify opportunities for digital transformation through Generative AI, Power Platform, and process automation
- Develop user guidelines, training materials, and enablement programs
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, system integrators, and service providers
- Evaluate proposals, contracts, costs, and deliverables to ensure quality and value
- Coordinate vendor communications, issue resolution, and continuous service improvement
    Required skills:
    - Experience in corporate IT, IT strategy, IT planning, IT PMO, IT consulting, or systems integration environments
    - Proven experience leading IT projects as a Project Manager, PMO, Project Leader, or equivalent role
    - Strong experience gathering business requirements, analyzing operational challenges, and driving process improvements
    - Fundamental knowledge in areas such as system development, IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, SaaS, or Microsoft 365
    - Experience managing vendors, project schedules, risks, issues, budgets, and deliverables
    - Experience preparing executive reports, presentations, and business documentation
    - Excellent Japanese communication skills with the ability to coordinate stakeholders across business and IT teams
    - Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects involving multiple departments and stakeholders
    - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex issues and drive practical solutions

    Work Hours:  9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
    Work Location:  Tokyo, Japan.
    Work Style:  Primarily office-based with collaboration across business departments and external partners. Flexible work arrangements may be available depending on business needs.
