A Global Financial firm is looking for a Deputy Head of Cyber Threat Defense. The ideal candidate will be r eporting to the Global Head of Cyber Threat Defense at UK, this strategic role leads the firm's cyber defense capabilities, ensuring protection of the global financial operations, client assets, and digital infrastructure while maintaining compliance with financial sector regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Security Operations & Risk Management
- Trading platform and payment systems protection
- Client data security and market data protection
- Financial risk assessment and regulatory compliance
- Threat modelling and incident impact analysis
- Business continuity planning
- Global Coordination & Metrics
- Cross-regional collaboration and time zone management
- Security incident metrics and response time KPIs
- System availability and detection accuracy
- Program implementation and risk reduction
- Cost efficiency and service availability
Required Skills:
- Global travelling is required – quite frequently. However, flexible hours across time zones and on call availability for critical incidents will be required.
- 10 years + working experience in Cybersecurity with 5 years in financial services global organization or equivalent knowledge
- Need have strong understanding of global financial market, banking security requirements and trading systems architecture
- Experience with fraud detection systems and market systems security
