A global and one of the world’s largest Insurance Service provide is looking for a Data Quality Management Engineer to join Data Management Team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data profiling, validation, cleansing, and standardization across multiple systems
- Conduct regular data audits and root-cause analysis to identify and fix data quality issues
- Track and report key data quality KPIs using dashboards and reports for business and IT teams
- Support the implementation of data quality standards, rules, and best practices across the organization
- Collaborate with Data Governance teams and Data Owners to improve policies and processes
- Work with data quality tools such as Informatica, Talend, or IBM InfoSphere, and write complex SQL for data analysis
- Assist in data ingestion and integration efforts across data lakes, warehouses, and operational systems
- Communicate data quality issues and improvement plans to stakeholders and provide training when needed
- Maintain clear documentation, including procedures, data dictionaries, and audit records
- Manage data quality workstreams within larger projects and present findings to leadership
- Coordinate with global teams to align on data governance and reporting standards
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in data quality, data management, data governance, or related fields
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and the end-to-end data management lifecycle
- Hands-on experience with data quality tools (Informatica, Talend, IBM InfoSphere, etc.)
- Proficient in SQL with experience working in database environments
- Skilled in building data quality dashboards and reports (Power BI, Tableau, Excel)
- Solid knowledge of data profiling, cleansing, and validation techniques
- Experience with regulatory compliance requirements (GDPR, CCPA, or similar)
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead workstreams
- Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills
- High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership
- Experience collaborating across IT, business teams, and external vendors
- Ability to deliver training on data quality or data governance topics
- Familiar with data ingestion, ETL/ELT, and integration pipelines
- Japanese: High Intermediate (N2) / English: Advanced

Working Hours: 9:00 - 17:30 (Mon-Fri)
Working Style: Hybrid (3 days’ work in office, and 2 days’ work from home)
