Description
A Global Asset Management is seeking a Data Operations Analyst for their Global Data Systems & Solutions Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving data from different sources (internal & external), managing them as a Data Steward across multiple applications, & publishing them to users & downstream systems globally. The team oversees globally aligned information systems housing commonly shared fund & investment related data, such as fund & account attributes, holdings, transactions, market data, as well as risk/performance metrics. Responsibilities include:
Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming data files, monitor daily ETL batch processes, & respond to operational issues
- Ensure data quality & consistency
- Monitor events in a timely manner
- Perform data operations using the Data Warehouse platform’s GUI, including monitoring load processes, handling exceptions, managing master data, & administering user access rights
- Provide support for ongoing data related projects, including documentation
- Review SQL & Python code, & implement changes
Required Skills:
- Strong foundational IT skills including 5 years’ experience using Microsoft Windows
- Working knowledge of databases & SQL
- 3+ years of experience in data operations and maintenance.
- Proficiency in SQL & Microsoft Excel
- Quick learner & healthy professional mindset, Self-motivated & responsible
- Able to work independently while also following instructions and guidance as required
