One of the world’s leading Insurance service provider, is looking for a talented Data Engineer in the Data Engineering Team.
Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize enterprise-wide data architecture, models, and pipelines
- Develop and enforce data engineering guidelines and best practices
- Provide data solutions including ETL/ELT, RDB, big data, and infrastructure design
- Build data models, pipelines, and analytics platforms (DWH, Data Lake, MDM, BI)
- Lead development and enhancement of data-related applications
- Translate business and data requirements into technical specifications
- Ensure data architecture and pipelines comply with global/local regulations
- Evaluate data systems for cost efficiency and alignment with technology trends
- Oversee vendor deliverables to ensure quality
- Partner with business and global teams to deliver data and analytics solutions
- Support legacy data rationalization and decommissioning efforts
- Work with operations and distribution teams to translate needs into business solutions
Required Skills:
- 2 ~ 5 years in insurance industry experience
- 10+ years of experience in Overall knowledge/experience in IT
- 10+ years of experience in data management and/or business intelligence roles with the most recent experience in data application delivery
- Strong experience with AWS Cloud (Solution Architect / Data etc.)
- Experience of Salesforce (Solution Architect / Data etc.)
- ITIL experience
- Demonstrated experience designing and building information assets in modern data technology platforms including Cloud (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Spark) based solutions, and data system migrations
- Experience in developing and operationalizing a data strategy across various technology, infrastructure, and entities
