A global insurance company is seeking a Data Architect and Governance Team Leader. 

Responsibilities:
- Assess and enhance current and future data systems in alignment with business strategy
- Lead enterprise data modeling across relational systems, including Star Schemas, SCDs, MDM domains, and data integration patterns
- Architect Azure‑based data platforms (Landing, Staging, Refined zones)
- Serve as the central leader for major data migration and MDM initiatives
- Develop data mapping strategies, validation frameworks, audit trails, and quality controls
- Oversee ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, Informatica, and Python
- Coordinate SMEs, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure timely, accurate migration to the new system
- Define and implement governance standards for data modeling, data quality, metadata, cataloging, MDM, and data sharing APIs
- Establish enterprise governance processes and ensure adoption across business departments
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Knowledge Management
- Work closely with business stakeholders to better understand data, business rules, and logic
- Play a key role in the end‑to‑end migration from legacy platforms to modern systems
- Maintain clear, well‑structured documentation as part of strong knowledge management practices

Required Skills:
- Extensive expertise in data architecture and governance — including enterprise data modeling (Star Schema, SCD), MDM, metadata management, and designing cloud‑based data platforms (Databricks, storage, databases)
- Proven leadership in large-scale data migration programs — hands-on experience guiding ETL/ELT pipelines, defining data mapping/validation frameworks, and coordinating cross‑functional teams and vendors
- Strong technical and communication capabilities — proficiency in Python and Databricks, deep understanding of OLTP/OLAP processes, and a collaborative, detail‑oriented mindset with the ability to lead and mentor data engineering teams

Working hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Weekdays)
Work style: Hybrid
