Description
A Global Life Insurance is looking for a talented Business Continuity Security Specialist in the Operational Resilience and Physical Security Team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Risk Assessments, and develop, maintain, and test Business Continuity Plans in line with group frameworks, processes, and procedures
- Plan, implement, and operate business continuity management processes, including business impact analysis, risk assessment, and business continuity strategy development
- Ensure completeness, consistency, and validation of business impact analysis and risk assessment questionnaires and consolidate reports for approval
- Develop and maintain incident management plans, ensuring alignment with identified risks and agreed strategies
- Coordinate annual testing of business continuity and incident management plans, in line with regulatory and group requirements
- Facilitate communication and collaboration with business departments to gather necessary information and support BCM processes
- Provide advice and guidance during incidents or crises and make recommendations to senior stakeholders following operational changes
- Collaborate with the Business Resilience community within Japan center to ensure alignment with, and adherence to, Operational Resilience and business continuity standards
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BCM standards, regulations, and best practices, and ensure compliance across the organization
Required Skills:
- 3 years of relevant experience in business continuity management, service management, or operational resilience within a regulated environment
- Experience in writing clear instructions, guidelines, and reports for a broad audience
- Experience in planning, delivering, and validating BCM testing and exercises
- understanding of BCM standards, best practices, and relevant regulations (e.g., ISO 22301, EU DORA, ISO3100 or equivalent)
- Familiarity with the critical activities, risks, and dependencies within an organization and across its value chain
- Ability to conduct business impact analysis, risk assessments, and develop business continuity strategies and incident management plans
- Ability to provide advice and guidance during incidents or crises, and to make recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Excellent project and program management skills, with the ability to influence and implement changes across business areas
- Strong communication, facilitation, and training skills, with experience in leading workshops and delivering awareness campaigns
- Advanced administrative and organizational skills, with proficiency in information management tools (e.g., SharePoint, MS Office)
