Description
A Global IT Service is looking for a Backend/Data Engineer .
Responsibilities:
You will be consistently involved with employees in the design, development, testing, and operation of the Client Master Group's data infrastructure and products. Depending on your experience, you may also be responsible for requirements definition and design.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering with a focus on data.
- 2+ years of Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework (version 1.8 or higher).
- Experience with unit testing (e.g., JUnit) and performance-conscious coding
- Experience with creating batch application using spring boot
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL,) and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and related services (e.g., Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Functions, Bigtable, BigQuery).
- Solid understanding of database schema design, SQL tuning, and performance evaluation.
