A Global and one of the world’s largest Insurance Service provide is looking for a strong bilingual leader for the Assistant VP, Policy Servicing Software Development Lead , within the Information Technology Department.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end software delivery for Policy Servicing systems, from architecture to production operations
- Prioritize and execute product backlogs aligned with business goals and customer impact
- Maintain secure, stable, compliant platforms with strong SLA performance and reduced incidents
- Promote Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, TDD, and modern engineering best practices
- Drive a multi-year modernization roadmap including cloud adoption and legacy transformation
- Make enterprise-aligned architectural decisions ensuring cybersecurity, compliance, and long-term sustainability
- Introduce emerging technologies (AI, analytics, automation) to enhance customer journeys and operations
- Manage senior business stakeholders and oversee third-party vendors, SaaS providers, and engineering partners
- Lead and develop multi-country engineering teams, ensuring quality, scalability, and strong technical governance
- Ensure operational excellence through disaster recovery, monitoring, performance tracking, and delivery accountability
Required Skills:
- 10–15+ years of experience leading software engineering teams in large-scale digital transformation programs within financial services or technology industries
- Cloud-native architectures
- API-driven systems
- Java/React and modern web/mobile technologies
- AI, Big Data, and modern data platforms
- Background building mission-critical, secure, resilient, and high-performance systems in complex, regulated environments
- Deep knowledge across the SDLC: CI/CD, test-driven development, domain-driven design, DevOps, Agile
- Strong architectural understanding of enterprise platforms, modernization frameworks, and engineering best practices
- Prior experience managing SaaS platforms, multi-country delivery teams, and major technology vendors
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to translate complex concepts for business audiences

Working Hours: 9:00 - 18:00 (Mon-Fri)
Working Style: 3 days’ work in office, and 2 days’ work from home
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, National Holidays, Year-end and New Year Holidays, Paid Holidays
