A Transformation Lead is sought to play a central role in enterprise-wide transformation at one of the world’s largest financial services companies. This role will lead the realization of the group-wide target architecture, integrating business strategy and technology vision to drive enterprise optimization through legacy modernization and advanced digital enablement.
Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain the future-state (To-Be) architecture and transformation roadmap, and lead enterprise-wide alignment and consensus building
- Drive optimization of legacy processes and systems, intervening in and resolving cross-enterprise strategic challenges
- Promote integrated Enterprise Architecture (EA) governance in collaboration with the Japan Chief Architect and domain architects (Application / Data / Infrastructure)
- Research, evaluate, and lead the application of advanced technologies (AI/ML, Generative AI, etc.) to create tangible business value
- Collaborate with the US Global Architecture Team to establish international alignment and support execution
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of leadership experience in technology domains, with hands-on experience in Enterprise Architecture or Solution Architecture
- Proven experience in developing target architectures and roadmaps that integrate business strategy and IT strategy
- Demonstrated success leading legacy modernization and enterprise-wide optimization initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management skills across organizations, including CIOs, executives, and senior architects
- Advanced English communication skills, sufficient for daily discussions and negotiations with US counterparts
- Advanced Japanese communication and negotiation skills, capable of leading internal consensus-building
- Understanding of business processes and systems in the financial or insurance industry (preferred)
- Experience introducing or practicing agile organizations / agile development (preferred)
- Experience evaluating and implementing advanced technologies such as AI/ML, Generative AI, and cloud architectures (preferred)
- Experience operating or reviewing architecture governance frameworks (e.g., EARB) (preferred)
- Experience leading cross-domain initiatives spanning applications, data, and infrastructure (preferred)

Working Hours: 9:00 – 18:00
Work Style: Hybrid (1–2 days per week in the office; 0–2 weekend workdays per month)
