A US based General Insurance firm is looking for a talented IT Solution Architect.
As Solution Architect for the Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the design, development, and testing of innovative core insurance system responsible for designing, testing, publishing insurance products.
Your expertise in web application development, architecture, and strategic thinking will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of our policy system.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in the insurance domain.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design and architecture of the Product Designer, which is one of the key components of our next-generation policy administration system, ensuring scalability, performance, and security
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle
- Drive architectural decisions, including technology selection, integration strategies, and design patterns
- Oversee the implementation of best practices and standards for software development, ensuring high quality code and maintainability
- Conduct system analysis and performance optimization to enhance system efficiency and reliability
- Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and solution discussions with cross-functional teams
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying them to create innovative solutions
Required Skills:
- 10+ years software development experience
- Strong expertise in Angular and Node.js for frontend and backend development
- Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect in any industry, with a strong focus on client server systems
- Proficiency in designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure software systems

Working Hours: 9:00 - 17:30 (Mon-Fri)
Working Style: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day work from home)
