A US based General Insurance firm is looking for a Security Platform Engineer to support global and local security operations.
Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of Data Engineering and Security Automation services in dayto-day operations
- Work with Security Operations leadership, Data Engineering and Security Automation resources to design and deliver strategic projects and solutions
- Support 24/7/365 Security Operations teams, including Incident Response personnel throughout the course of an event
- Monitor and support security platforms and data pipelines
- Help build automation solutions to improve security operations
- Support global Security Operations teams (SOC, Incident Response, Detection Engineering)
- Work with Japanese and global teams to integrate local needs into global services
- Act as a technical contact and mentor for junior engineers
- Work closely with Security Operation Centre analysts to ensure end-user requirements are replicated in the functionality of security technologies
- Take ownership of local requirements and integrate them into the global security services, coordinating efforts between regional stakeholders and other engineering functions
- Lead and mentor junior resources across the global team
Required Skills:
- 10+ years in security engineering (with 5+ years in SIEM or similar)
- Knowledge of Windows, Unix, and Linux
- Experience with data pipelines and security automation
- Understanding of SOAR, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, CIS frameworks
- Experience with tools like Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence

Working Hours: 9:00 - 17:30 (Mon-Fri)
Working Style: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day work from home)
