A world’s leading Insurance service provider, is looking for a talented & bilingual ISO Security Engineer Lead , with in the ISO Business Services Delivery Team.
The Japan Information Security Office (ISO) Security Engineering team is seeking a bilingual leader to backfill a critical headcount responsible for the deployment, management, and ongoing maintenance of the security technology stack across Japan and the broader APAC region.
This role serves as the regional lead for security tool coverage and provides “Follow the Sun” operational support for security incidents impacting the Japan/APAC time zone.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the deployment, configuration, optimization, and lifecycle management of the enterprise security stack across Japan/APAC
- Ensure consistent coverage, compliance, and operational stability of security platforms
- Partner with global security engineering teams to align regional implementations with global standards and roadmaps
- Drive continuous improvement of tooling effectiveness, automation, and reporting
- Provide regional “Follow the Sun” support for incidents involving security platforms
- Act as escalation point for complex security tooling issues in the Japan/APAC time zone
- Coordinate with global SOC, IR, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents
- Maintain operational runbooks, escalation procedures, and knowledge documentation
- Serve as the primary regional liaison between Japan business stakeholders and Global Security Engineering
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory and corporate security requirements
- Provide executive-level reporting on tool coverage, performance, and risk posture
- Support audits, regulatory inquiries, and internal risk assessments related to security tooling
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience in security engineering and enterprise security platform management, including hands-on oversight of deployment, optimization, and lifecycle management
- Proven leadership in driving regional security deployments within a global organization, with the ability to operate effectively in a “Follow the Sun” incident support model
- Strong technical expertise across core security domains, including EDR, vulnerability management, DLP, email security, database security, and threat simulation platforms

Working Hours: 9:00 - 17:30 (Mon-Fri)
Working Style: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day work from home)
