A Global and one of the world’s largest Insurance Service provider is looking for a strong bilingual IAM & Security Advisory Assistant Manager to join its Japan Information Technology Department.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage IAM lifecycle operations including access provisioning, de-provisioning, privileged access management, and identity governance
- Oversee implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of IAM platforms such as CyberArk, SailPoint, and related access management tools
- Monitor and evaluate IAM control effectiveness; define continuous improvement plans aligned with global security standards
- Ensure compliance with critical regulatory frameworks including PCI DSS, SOX, FSA guidelines, and internal security policies
- Develop IAM architecture and recommend future-state security measures to support modernization and cloud adoption initiatives
- Represent MetLife Japan in industry groups such as Financials ISAC Japan, contributing insights and collaborating on cybersecurity trends
- Serve as the primary security advisor for Application Development and IT Infrastructure teams, providing security baseline standards, architectural guidance, and secure engineering practices
- Engage with IT projects from initial stages to ensure secure architecture, secure configuration, and risk mitigation throughout the lifecycle
- Conduct system and application risk assessments, reporting risks, gaps, and remediation strategies to senior stakeholders
- Drive execution of security improvement programs in collaboration with local and global counterparts
- Ensure adherence to Information Security policies, operational risk policies, and regulatory expectations across IT areas
- Promote security awareness and embed security-by-design principles in system architecture, development, and operations
- Monitor evolving regulatory requirements, industry standards, and cybersecurity threats; assess impact and establish timely countermeasures
- Provide regular reporting on security posture, program progress, vulnerabilities, and improvement initiatives
Required Skills:
- 5+ years hands-on experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity Operations, or Security Risk Advisory
- IT infrastructure & network security
- Cybersecurity principles and threat management
- Security frameworks: NIST CSF, PCI DSS, FISC, SOX, FSA
- IAM technologies: CyberArk, SailPoint, privileged access management
- Cloud security and data protection fundamentals
- IAM lifecycle operations (provisioning, de-provisioning, access reviews)
- System/application risk assessments and vulnerability identification
- Security advisory for application development & infrastructure teams
- Preparing clear technical reports and presenting findings to stakeholders

Working Hours: 9:00 - 18:00 (Mon-Fri)
Working Style: 3 days’ work in office, and 2 days’ work from home
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, National Holidays, Year-end and New Year Holidays, Paid Holidays
