A Global IT Service firm is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer in the DevOps Group, you will design, build, and operate stable system platforms aligned with business strategies and user needs, supporting video streaming services. The systems are primarily built on a private cloud, with some components running on public cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP. The team is multinational, and English is the primary language of communication. AS a company, it is actively promoting the use of AI to improve operational efficiency and automation, aiming to enhance system reliability and productivity. By proactively proposing and implementing solutions to operational challenges, you will gain hands-on experience in improving system quality.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for the following tasks. Specific assignments will be discussed based on your experience and suitability.
- Operation and maintenance of BtoC systems running on Kubernetes, with a strong focus on stability and reliability
- System monitoring, alert handling, and infrastructure-level troubleshooting
- Responding to operational inquiries from development teams
- End-of-life (EOL) management for operating systems and middleware
- Planning and executing non-functional testing assuming large-scale loads and failure scenarios
- Investigating system bottlenecks and improving performance
- Building and maintaining Jenkins pipelines to automate deployments
- Creating and updating operational documentation and properly executing procedures
- Gathering requirements from stakeholders and proposing operational improvements
Required Skills:
- Experience in building and operating Linux servers as an administrator （Assumes proficiency in basic command-line operations, user and permission management, middleware configuration, and troubleshooting）
- Experience in infrastructure design, operation, and monitoring for BtoC systems
- Experience or knowledge of container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
