Monroe Consulting Group is partnering with a well-established international jewelry manufacturing company. They are seeking an experienced Accounting and Finance Manager to lead its accounting and finance operations in Thailand. This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, cost control, and effective treasury management within a manufacturing environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the full spectrum of accounting operations, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
- Prepare and review financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in compliance with Thai GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Manage general ledger activities, reconciliations, AP/AR, accruals, fixed assets, depreciation, and inventory accounting.
- Supervise inventory closing and cost allocation to Work in Progress (WIP), including detailed costing analysis for materials, production processes, and labor.
- Lead cash flow planning and treasury management, including payment approvals, payroll uploads, and multi-currency cash control.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all corporate tax filings (PND, PP forms) and statutory reports (SSO, Workmen Compensation, etc.).
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, banks, insurance providers, and relevant government agencies.
- Oversee ERP system accuracy and ensure strong internal controls across accounting processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and financial transparency.
- Lead, develop, and mentor the accounting team to maintain high standards of performance and compliance.
- Prepare financial analysis and management reports to support strategic business decisions.
- Support BOI-related matters and other compliance requirements where applicable.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA/CPD license preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial position.
- Solid experience in manufacturing (jewelry or related industry highly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Thai tax regulations and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
