A Global IT Service firm is seeking a Back-end Engineer. This is a challenging role aimed at leading the travel industry, where you are expected to deliver services using cutting-edge technology to meet the diverse travel needs of today.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in backend system development using Java and Spring
- Handle a wide range of tasks: Architecture consideration, System design, Responding to user inquiries
- Collaborate with related teams
- Manage large-scale traffic in production environments
- Opportunity to refine technical skills while working collaboratively with the team
- Expected to serve as a role model for junior engineers and contribute to the organization’s growth
- Development: Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Cloud Config, JUnit, Apache Maven, IntelliJ IDEA
Required Skills:
- Over 6 years of experience in designing, developing, and operating large-scale Web APIs on Linux servers using Java and Spring Framework
- Experience in table design / query creation for efficient utilization of RDBMS like Oracle Database and NoSQL databases like MongoDB/Redis, as well as experience with ElasticSearch
- Experience with distributed development using GitHub/Bitbucket or similar version control systems and Pull Requests

Work Hours : 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Flextime or staggered working hours possible)
