An American Sportswear firm is looking for a IT Application Manager for its Japan office The IT Application Manager is primarily responsible for planning, coordination, implementation, and support of various systems such as inventory management, POS, and B2B/B2C services in Japan.
This role collaborates closely with application support teams, infrastructure teams, and external vendors to deliver solutions that meet retail requirements, while ensuring continuous improvement and operational support.

Responsibilities:
- Work under the CDT organization as a dedicated resource for application management
- Manage local front-end applications and collaborate with global teams and local vendors with a deep understanding of business requirements
- Manage and collaborate with local vendors and support internal application and maintenance teams to ensure stable operation of the omnichannel platform
- Develop front-end system roadmaps to meet local user requirements
- Coordinate and manage application projects to define local IT strategy and deliver IT solutions in compliance with global IT policies
- Continuously improve system platforms by adopting new technologies aligned with IT direction
- Act as the key contact person for business functions to ensure effective IT support
- Maintain and enhance existing systems to achieve business strategy and objectives
- Lead IT-related application projects and be accountable for outcomes
- Effectively lead teams and support the development of team members

Required skills:
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in IT/IS within a multinational company
- At least 5 years of IT management experience
- Proven track record of people management
- Experience working with business functions (Retail, Finance, Merchandising, Logistics) is a plus
- Knowledge of major application software (SAP, POS, B2C/B2B systems)

Working Hours: 9:00 – 17:30 (Mon-Fri)
Working Style:  Hybrid (remote work : 2days/w)
