職務内容
A Japan Life Insurance firm is looking for a talented Senior Lead Architect to lead platform modernization program to replace and modernize its core insurance and non-core applications currently hosted on Legacy Mainframe environment.
Responsibilities:

- Platform Evaluation and Design
- Integration, and Security Architecture
- Cloud and DevOps Alignment
- Mentoring and Knowledge SharingQuality Assurance and Compliance
Required Skills :
- Experience: 12+ years of hands-on software/solution architecture experience, with 5+ years leading architecture for large-scale insurance modernization or financial services programs
- Domain Knowledge: Deep knowledge of life insurance processes (policy administration, underwriting, endorsements, billing, claims) and Japan regulatory considerations (FSA)
- Tools & Modeling: Experience with architecture modeling tools, Visio, and collaboration tools
- Communication and Leadership: Excellent ability to influence across technical and business stakeholders; proven track record of leading architecture reviews and guiding large teams
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and modern cloud-native architectural patterns
- Strong background in microservices, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), API management, and event-driven architectures
- Knowledge of API gateways and integration patterms
- Experience with data architectures (SQL and NoSQL), data integration, and data governance
- Familiarity with core insurance platforms or successful modernizations
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language and experience with modern DevOps practices
- Strategic yet hands-on with the ability to translate business goals into architectural blueprints / Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making under ambiguity / Excellent collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills
