職務内容
A Global Insurance firm is looking for a Senior Enterprise Data & AI Architect / Data Architecture Manager to lead the strategic evolution of its enterprise Data and AI architecture across all Lines of Business, including Life and P&C.
This is a strategic architecture and leadership role responsible for ensuring that Data Architecture vision, Target Architecture, and technology roadmap are aligned with business strategy and the Group direction. The role will help maximize business value from technology investment while reducing the Total Cost of Ownership through standardization, reuse, simplification, and effective architecture governance.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a senior Data Architecture leader and strategic advisor to the Chief Architect on enterprise data and AI architecture decisions
- Define, own, maintain, and continuously evolve the Japan’s Target Data Architecture, Data & AI Architecture Strategy, principles, standards, and architecture blueprints
- Ensure Data and AI architecture strategy is aligned with Japan’s business strategy, IT strategy, technology roadmap, and the Group strategic direction
- Establish architectural direction across Life and P&C business domains and ensure consistency across Lines of Business
- Lead the design of enterprise-scale data and AI capabilities that support current and future business use cases
- Provide architectural leadership for major transformation programs involving Data, AI, Cloud, Analytics, Data Platforms, and Digital Transformation
- Define and govern enterprise data models, data domains, Master Data, Reference Data, metadata, data lifecycle, and data integration strategies
- Lead the evolution of cloud-based Data Lakehouse and enterprise data platform architecture
- Establish architectural patterns and standards for data pipelines, ETL/ELT, APIs, integration, analytics, BI, and data visualization
- Define and guide the architecture required to support Generative AI, RAG, Agentic AI, AI platforms, and advanced analytics
- Lead architecture governance and ensure technology implementation across tribes converges toward the Target Architecture and approved blueprints
- Work closely with Tribe Architects to identify strategic capability gaps and ensure business and technology planning addresses those gaps
Required Skills:
- TOGAF certification strongly preferred, with extensive experience in Enterprise Architecture, Data Architecture, or Data & AI Architecture; typically, 10+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience owning or leading enterprise-scale Data Architecture strategy and Target Architecture
- Strong expertise in Enterprise Data Modeling, Data Management, Data Lifecycle Management, Master Data Management, Reference Data Management, and metadata management
- Strong understanding of insurance data models, insurance value chains, and business processes, ideally covering Life and/or P&C insurance
- Extensive experience designing modern cloud data architectures and enterprise data platforms
- Strong knowledge of AWS and/or Azure, with hands-on understanding of cloud architecture principles and services
- Strong experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalent enterprise data technologies
- Deep understanding of Data Lakehouse architecture, ETL/ELT, data pipelines, APIs, data integration, metadata, data governance, and data security
- Strong understanding of modern AI architecture, including Generative AI, RAG, Agentic AI, AI platforms, vector databases, AI data pipelines, and AI governance considerations
- Demonstrated ability to design and govern complex end-to-end architecture solutions using leading-edge cloud, data, analytics, and AI technologies
- Strong understanding of data security architecture, including data masking, encryption, access control, privacy, and secure data-sharing mechanisms
