職務内容
A world’s leading cloud service provider, is seeking a talented and bilingual Strategic Business Development Leader to drive and execute high-impact strategic partnerships for some of its most important customers in Japan.
In this role you will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing complex partnership opportunities that have significant implications across the businesses.
You will work closely with senior leaders, customers, and partners across multiple industries, including telecommunications, retail, automotive, financial services, and technology. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, relationship management, and strong negotiation skills to secure partnerships that support long-term growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships involving technology, commerce, marketing, and content
- Lead the development and execution of complex business agreements and large-scale technology deals
- Assess the commercial, financial, and strategic value of partnership opportunities
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Operations, Legal, Finance, Tax, Accounting, and senior leadership
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to influence product strategy and roadmap decisions
- Support strategic initiatives that drive customer adoption and business growth
- Develop and implement best practices for partnership management, opportunity tracking, and execution
- Represent the business in discussions with senior executives and decision-makers across various industries
- Manage multiple strategic projects simultaneously while ensuring alignment with the business objectives
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Go-to-Market (GTM), Consulting, or Enterprise Sales
- Strong understanding of cloud computing and digital transformation initiatives
- Proven track record of negotiating and closing complex commercial agreements
- Strong strategic planning and business case development capabilities
- Knowledge of enterprise technology ecosystems and emerging technology trends
- Familiarity with technology partnerships, system integrators (SIs), consulting firms, and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs)
- Understanding of industry sectors such as Financial Services, Telecommunications, Retail, Automotive, and Technology
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across technical and business functions
- Strong executive communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to build long-term relationships with C-level stakeholders and senior decision-makers
- Capability to navigate complex organizational structures and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders
