職務内容
One of the world’s leading financial groups is seeking a Senior Production Support / Operations Manager to strengthen the reliability, resilience, and performance of our mission‑critical applications.
You will be part of the Operational Engineering Department, supporting key applications used across the Japan business. This position combines Application Support leadership, SRE practices, IT Service Management, and crisis handling, providing the opportunity to lead operational excellence at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and govern application releases (scheduled and emergency) across cloud and on‑prem environments, ensuring risk control and business continuity.
- Own and standardize system documentation, operational procedures, and enterprise-grade runbooks.
- Analyze performance trends and operational risks using APM and scheduling tools (New Relic, Dynatrace, JP1, A‑AUTO).
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure robust operational acceptance, release readiness, and production stability.
- Drive system design reviews, capacity planning, and IT service management processes with a strategic perspective.
- Promote automation and operational excellence to enhance scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
- Lead vendor management and managed service governance, ensuring SLA adherence and continuous performance improvement.
- Lead cross‑team collaboration to implement solutions and drive operational transformation.
- Establish knowledge-sharing practices and strengthen engineering and operational maturity.
- Define and track KPIs, continuously improving operational performance.
- Operate with high autonomy, providing leadership while appropriately escalating critical issues.
- Demonstrate strong ownership, leadership, and innovation in managing production environments.
- Act as escalation point for major incidents, ensuring effective crisis management and communication to business stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in Application / Production Support / AMS, including troubleshooting, enhancements, maintenance, and continuous improvement of production systems
- Proven hands-on expertise in major incident and crisis management, including leading incident response, root cause analysis, and resolution under pressure in complex environments
- Excellent business communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate incidents, risks, and solutions to both technical teams and senior business stakeholders, combined with strong technical expertise (web, database, API, scheduler, APM, scripting, SQL, cloud)

Working Hours: 9:00 - 17:00 (Mon-Fri)
Working Style: Hybrid (2 days of remote work per week)
