職務内容
A global IT services company is hiring a Frontend Engineer for its EC Expansion Development Department. The EC Expansion Development Department values building lean and efficient organizations as a key mindset and provides products and systems that continuously enhance and expand e-commerce. In a fast-changing business environment, the team delivers value quickly by actively leveraging cutting-edge technologies, including AI, while continuously growing through cycles of challenge and improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in frontend development projects from early planning through requirement definition, implementation, and deployment
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and business stakeholders (in Japanese) to define requirements and project scope
- Design and implement end-to-end frontend systems with a strong focus on quality, performance, and maintainability
- Create technical specifications and design documentation in line with team guidelines
- Build reusable, accessible, and high-performance React components
- Conduct code reviews and mentor team members when necessary
- Provide technical proposals and progress updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Take ownership of complex feature development and drive technical initiatives to improve team productivity
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of professional frontend development experience
- 3+ years of people management experience (managing teams of approximately 3 members)
- Experience leading projects from early stages (requirements definition, technical planning, system design) through deployment as a frontend engineer
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (product, design, backend, QA)
- Expertise in React (required): Deep understanding of component lifecycle, Hooks, and modern patterns (React 16+)
- TypeScript: Strong proficiency in generics, utility types, and type-safe patterns
- Next.js: Practical experience with App Router or Pages Router
- Modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, responsive design
- Modern CSS approaches: Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, or CSS-in-JS
- Testing: Unit, integration, and E2E testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright)
- Experience with Git workflows and code review practices
