職務内容
A Global IT Service firm is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to work closely with Japanese customers and global development and delivery teams.
The successful candidate will engage directly with customers to understand business and technical requirements, translate those requirements into solution designs, and work with international engineering teams to develop the proposed solution.
This is a highly customer-facing role combining solution architecture, requirements gathering, technical consulting, and pre-sales support. The Solution Architect will also create architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and presentations to clearly communicate proposed solutions to customers and internal teams.
Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with Japanese customers to understand their business needs, technical requirements, challenges, and objectives
- Translate customer requirements into clear functional and technical solution designs
- Act as the technical bridge between Japanese customers and Virtusa's international development and delivery teams
- Design high-level solution architectures and recommend appropriate technologies and approaches
- Create architecture diagrams, solution documents, proposals, and customer-facing presentations
- Work with development teams to validate technical feasibility, effort, dependencies, and implementation approaches
- Present proposed architectures and technical solutions to customer stakeholders
- Support technical discussions, workshops, proposals, and pre-sales activities
- Gather customer feedback and refine solutions together with engineering and delivery teams
- Ensure proposed solutions are scalable, practical, and aligned with customer requirements
Required Skills:
- Experience working as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, Technical Consultant, Pre-Sales Engineer, or similar customer-facing technical role
- Strong understanding of software development, system architecture, and modern technology environments
- Experience gathering and analyzing customer requirements and translating them into technical solutions
- Ability to create solution architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and presentations
- Experience working with software developers, engineers, and international delivery teams
- Good understanding of areas such as cloud, APIs, enterprise applications, integration, data, or modern application architecture
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders

Working Hours: 9:00 – 18:00 (Mon-Fri)
Working Style: One day per week in office
