One of the world’s largest Insurance Service provide is seeking a talented Senior Software Development Test Engineer to support the end-to-end quality assurance lifecycle. Responsibilities
- As a bilingual Software Development Test Engineer, you need to support the end-to-end quality assurance lifecycle, including requirements analysis, test case design, test data preparation, manual and automated testing, test execution, and result reporting
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts with help on AI to ensure high product quality and efficient regression coverage
- Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and QA teams to understand functional and non-functional requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Act as a bilingual communication bridge between onshore and offshore teams in English and Japanese, ensuring clear understanding of requirements, timely clarifications, and effective knowledge sharing
- Translate and explain requirements, testing outcomes, and technical details across teams to ensure alignment and shared understanding
- Actively contribute within Agile/Scrum environments, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Track defects through their lifecycle, ensure timely updates and follow-ups, and help drive prompt resolution of critical issues. Identify recurring issues, recommend preventive actions, and suggest improvements in automation, test coverage, and overall efficiency
- Leverage AI, Prompt Engineering, Copilot technologies, and AI-assisted quality engineering practices to enhance test planning, test design, automation, defect analysis, risk assessment, and overall STLC efficiency, accelerating delivery while improving product quality and team productivity
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, such as Playwright or similar tools
- Strong understanding of test automation best practices, test design patterns, and CI/CD integration
- Experience working in Agile development methodologies
- Must Exposure to AI, including agentic workflows
- Practical knowledge of applying AI across multiple phases of testing such as requirement analysis, test design, test data generation, automation development, execution analysis, and defect triage

Working Hours: 9:00 - 18:00 (Mon-Fri)
Working Style: 3 days’ work in office, and 2 days’ work from home
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, National Holidays, Year-end and New Year Holidays, Paid Holidays
