職務内容
A Global IT Service firm is looking for a Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Creating operational procedures and obtaining approval for production work
- Improving operational procedures and workflows
- Building and decommissioning nodes and clusters
- Handling alerts and incidents
- Meeting security requirements (OS and middleware updates, patching)
- Relases and monitoring
- Handling escalated inquiries that cannot be resolved by the user support group
Required skills:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience operating Kubernetes environments handling production traffic, including cluster and node management
- Strong operational discipline: ability to create, review, and improve strict operational procedures for stable infrastructure operation
- Deep knowledge of Linux systems and containerized infrastructure (Docker, container orchestration)
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Ansible, Helm, and custom in-house Go/Python tools using operator patterns (e.g., Red Hat Operator Framework)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitOps) and cloud-native monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Cortex, Grafana, Kibana, PagerDuty)
- Experience managing private cloud environments (Bare Metal, VM, Container) and hybrid/public cloud platforms
- Strong programming/scripting skills in Go, Python, and Shell Script for automation and operational improvements
- Familiarity with project and task management tools (JIRA, Confluence) and agile methodologies (Scrum)
- Communication and collaboration skills using Slack, MS Teams, Viber for cross-team coordination
- Knowledge of security, compliance, and patching procedures for OS and middleware in production environments
