職務内容
A Japan-based startup supported by one of the largest enterprises in the country is seeking a QA Engineer to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify software requirements
- Understand features and workflows from the customer’s perspective, and design and execute both manual and automated tests
- Plan and perform various types of testing, including end-to-end (E2E), API, and performance tests
- Conduct manual testing as needed to ensure product quality
- Develop automation tools and scripts to improve and streamline the testing process
- Document, analyze, and reproduce defects, and propose preventive measures
- Work closely with the development team to ensure high-quality, on-schedule releases
- Serve as a key person for quality assurance with strong knowledge of our systems and services
Required Skills:
- Ability to build automated tests for web applications using tools such as Playwright
- Capable of reading and understanding code, identifying and debugging issues
- Proficient in using GitHub for version control and collaboration
- Experience performing manual testing for web applications
- Hands-on experience with end-to-end (E2E) testing
- Japanese proficiency sufficient for daily operations — including participation in product meetings, issue reporting, and discussing software requirements (JLPT N2 level or higher, or equivalent ability)

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Working Style : Hybrid — required to work in the office once a week and visit client sites once a month.
