A Global IT Service firm is looking for a Project Manager.As a Project Manager for the Universal Control Plane (UCP), you will lead the evolution of our multi-cloud infrastructure into an Internal Developer Platform (IDP). You will sit at the intersection of complex technical architecture and enterprise business strategy, ensuring that our infrastructure not only meets stringent security and compliance standards but also accelerates our engineering velocity. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will bridge the gap between technical teams and business units to drive the future of our cloud-native ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the UCP development project using Agile/Scrum methodologies to instill team discipline and ensure high-quality, predictable delivery in a complex environment
- Act as the primary liaison for Private Cloud service teams, managing technical dependencies and resolving conflicts to drive a unified multi-cloud strategy
- Manage executive communication by preparing clear, high-level reports and presentations that articulate technical progress, risks, and strategic value
- Define and execute the long-term roadmap to evolve the UCP into an enterprise-grade Internal Developer Platform (IDP), aligning infrastructure with business goals
- Standardize security, international compliance, and operational governance across all hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Manage the UCP cost/billing lifecycle, from designing the model to implementing internal chargeback or showback strategies
Required skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in technical project management, program management, or engineering management
- Proven track record of leading technical projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies, with the ability to foster team discipline and maintain high delivery velocity
- Hands-on experience in the development or operation of distributed systems on public (AWS, Azure, GCP) or private cloud platforms
- Hands-on experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and documentation, and GitHub for managing development workflows and issues
- Proven ability to bridge communication gaps between technical teams (e.g., Private Cloud/SRE) and business stakeholders, resolving conflicts to align on project goals
- Strong ability to translate complex technical progress into clear, actionable reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders
- Basic understanding of cloud cost structures and financial management, with an aptitude for developing billing/chargeback model
