職務内容
A Global Financial firm is seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Technical Business Analyst who will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business and regulatory requirements into detailed functional specifications and supporting the full delivery and testing lifecycle.
The role covers business requirements analysis, FSD preparation and review, SQL/data analysis, technical impact assessment, QA testing, UAT support, regression testing, and production issue investigation.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
- Clarify business requirements and identify gaps or ambiguities
- Analyze business processes, financial products, data flows, and existing system functionality
- Assess the impact of regulatory and product-scope changes on existing systems
- Create and maintain detailed Functional Specification Documents (FSDs)
- Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements
- Explain functional requirements to developers in detail
- Confirm technical feasibility and proposed solutions with development teams
- Analyze upstream and downstream data flows and system interfaces
- Use SQL for data analysis, investigation, validation, reconciliation, and test-data preparation
- Trace system flows and understand existing application logic
- Read and understand code sufficiently to identify potential system impacts and communicate required changes to developers
- Prepare test data based on requirements, upstream changes, and end-to-end data flows
- Design and execute IT QA test scenarios
- Document test results and investigate defects
- Work closely with finance users, developers, QA teams, and upstream/downstream system owners in Japan and India
- Support production incidents by providing functional and domain-level SME expertise
- Manage multiple priorities and coordinate activities across different project stakeholders
Required skills:
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience within financial institutions
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis, validation, reconciliation, investigation, and test-data preparation
- Experience creating and reviewing FSDs / functional specifications
- Ability to understand application architecture, system flows, data flows, and interfaces
- Ability to read and understand code and communicate effectively with developers
- Experience with IT QA, UAT, regression testing, and defect management
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Familiarity with JIRA, GitLab, or similar DevOps/project management tools
- Strong understanding of financial products, processes, and business flows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Regulatory Capital / Leverage Exposure / Large Exposure knowledge is preferred, not mandatory
