A Silicon Valley Start-up is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of next-generation EV motorcycle software platforms.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing and growing product teams while staying close to execution. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with global stakeholders, including hardware, software, and business leaders, to deliver innovative mobility solutions at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the product vision and strategy for EV motorcycle software platforms
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing product management team
- Own the full product lifecycle: concept → development → launch → growth
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and global business teams to deliver integrated products
- Build scalable product processes, frameworks, and operating models
- Work closely with strategic partners (including Honda and global stakeholders)
- Ensure products are customer-centric, intuitive, and deliver strong user experience
- Operate at both strategic and execution levels to drive measurable outcomes
- Travel internationally when required to support global product initiatives
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of product management experience in Agile environments
- 2+ years of experience managing product managers or leading teams
- Proven experience leading a function or department in a complex or global organization
- Strong track record of launching and scaling consumer-facing software products
- Experience working with large partners, ecosystems, or joint ventures (e.g. automotive, mobility, platforms)
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
- Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability
- Customer-first mindset with strong product intuition and UX focus
- Entrepreneurial mindset with flexibility to operate in a fast-paced environment
