職務内容
A global and one of the world’s largest Insurance Service provide is looking for a strong bilingual leader for the Technology Risk & Control Director, within Japan Information Technology Department.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the IT risk and controls strategy aligned with global standards
- Establish governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
- Drive risk-aware decision making across technology and business teams
- Develop and enhance technology risk frameworks, controls, and processes
- Identify, assess, and manage risks across infrastructure, applications, data, and security
- Lead risk assessments (e.g., NFRA) and drive remediation of control gaps
- Act as the primary interface with internal/external audit, risk, and compliance teams
- Lead audits, regulatory reviews, and control assessments (e.g., SOX)
- Own issue remediation, tracking, and reporting for risk and audit findings
- Partner with business leaders, IT, and global stakeholders to embed strong risk practices
- Collaborate with security, architecture, infrastructure, and data teams
- Manage third-party and vendor risk to ensure compliance with control requirements
- Build and lead high-performing risk and control teams
- Support secure and compliant delivery of technology and transformation initiatives
- Enable Agile and DevSecOps adoption while maintaining strong controls
- Balance innovation, speed, and risk in a regulated environment
Required Skills:
- 7+ years in technology risk, IT governance, controls, or related areas in regulated industries
- 7+ years of leadership experience in risk, controls, or assurance functions
- Strong experience across IT risk domains: infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, data, and business continuity
- Proven experience managing audits, regulatory engagement, and remediation
- Experience working in global environments with local regulatory requirements (e.g., Japan FSA)
- Experience managing third-party/vendor risk and outsourced services
- Familiarity with Agile, DevSecOps, and modern delivery models

Working Hours: 9:00 - 18:00 (Mon-Fri)
Working Style: 3 days’ work in office, and 2 days’ work from home
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, National Holidays, Year-end and New Year Holidays, Paid Holidays
