職務内容
A Global Digital Marketing solutions firm is seeking an experienced Data Engineer . They welcome individuals who are curious and take ownership, capable of not just following documented requirements but also uncovering underlying needs and challenges, and leading projects from requirement definition to implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate directly with internal business users to understand and explore business challenges
- Accurately grasp business goals and translate them into concrete data requirements
- Act as a liaison between business teams and data engineering teams, leading requirement clarification and alignment
- Design and implement data workflows, dashboards, and reports focused on business value
- Clearly communicate project goals, progress, and risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Promote the use and adoption of internal data platforms and BI tools
- Perform data quality checks and validation
Required Skills:
- 3+ years' experience of hands-on experience with general purpose programming languages like Python.
- Able to develop, debug, and maintain scripts or applications for data workflows and analysis.
- Strong collaboration in fast paced environment, able to work cross functionally with product, sales, and engineering teams to define and agree on requirements and drive cross-departmental coordination and delivery.
- Intermediate SQL skills, comfortable with common data analysis tasks using SQL, including: JOIN operations and conditional filtering across multiple tables / Aggregations using GROUP BY or CASE / Use of subqueries and window functions e.g. PARTITION BY / Reading, modifying, and verifying existing SQL (experience with either BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, MySQL)
- Preferred experience with Snowflake, Databricks and using dbt (data build tool)
