A global and one of the world’s largest Insurance Service provider is looking for a strong bilingual leader for the AVP - IT Service Management (ITSM) (Resiliency). This is a Senior IT leader role, responsible for IT stability, incident management, and disaster recovery across the business inJapan, working with business leaders and global teams.

Responsibilities:
- Own ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Requests)
- Lead Major Incident Management (critical outages, system failures)
- Ensure quick service recovery and clear communication to stakeholders
- Manage disaster recovery (DR) and backup/recovery strategies
- Improve system reliability and uptime
- Conduct: DR drills / failover tests
- Incident reviews and root cause analysis
- Build dashboards and reports for performance and risk tracking
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements
- Work closely with: Application, Infrastructure, Security, Data teams
- Align IT services with business needs
- Manage vendors and global partners (ensure SLA performance)
- Lead and develop ITSM / resiliency teams
- Drive: Accountability / Continuous improvement / Strong incident response culture

Required Skills:
- 15+ years in IT, with strong leadership experience
- 10+ years in IT Resiliency / Disaster Recovery / ITSM
- Strong experience in: Incident, Problem, Change Management, and Major incident handling
- Experience with: DR planning (RTO / RPO) & Backup & recovery strategies
- Good understanding of: Infrastructure, cloud (AWS/Azure), and security
- Experience managing: Vendors, global teams, cross-functional stakeholders

Working Hours: 9:00 - 18:00 (Mon-Fri)
Working Style: 3 days’ work in office, and 2 days’ work from home
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, National Holidays, Year-end and New Year Holidays, Paid Holidays
