職務内容
A global and one of the world’s largest Insurance Service provider is looking for a strong bilingual leader for the AVP, Policy Servicing Software Development Lead, within Japan Information Technology Department.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end software delivery across architecture, development, and production
- Prioritize and execute backlog aligned with business and transformation goals
- Ensure systems are secure, stable, compliant, and high-performing
- Define and execute modernization initiatives including cloud adoption and cloud-native architecture
- Drive architecture aligned with enterprise standards, security, and compliance
- Introduce AI, data, and automation to enhance business capabilities
- Build scalable, reusable solutions to support long-term platform growth
- Manage senior stakeholders to ensure alignment and clear communication
- Oversee vendors and partners to maintain delivery quality and cost control
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, data, risk, and compliance teams to ensure strong governance
- Ensure disaster recovery, security, privacy, and overall system resilience
- Maintain high availability and effective monitoring for critical systems
- Track delivery performance, KPIs, financials, and operational metrics aligned to business goals
Required Skills:
- 10–15+ years leading engineering teams in large-scale digital transformation (financial services or tech preferred)
- Experience in cloud-native architecture, public cloud (Azure), APIs, and modern tech (Java/React, web/mobile)
- Exposure to AI, Big Data, and modern data platforms
- Exp knowledge of SDLC, including CI/CD, DevOps, TDD, DDD, and Agile
- Strong communication skills with ability to engage business stakeholders

Working Hours: 9:00 - 18:00 (Mon-Fri)
Working Style: 3 days’ work in office, and 2 days’ work from home
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, National Holidays, Year-end and New Year Holidays, Paid Holidays
