職務内容
A Top tech firm is growing and looking for an Android Engineer for their team. In this role you will be working with a dedicated team to help improves overall services across various domains. This is an opportunity to work on systems at a scale that are rare to see in Japan and work with other dedicated engineers in a collaborate results focused environment.
You will not only be involved in feature development, but also in refactoring a large codebase that has been in operation for many years. By utilizing Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, and other tools to promote the transition to a modern architecture, you will contribute to improving development efficiency and maintainability.
Responsibilities:
- Design, development, and operation of stamp-related features in the Android app within a Scrum team
- New development of core features that support the communication experience, such as the stamp recommendation function, and improvements to existing features
- Migrating to a modern Android architecture using Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, etc., and refactoring existing systems
- Solving design and technical challenges while considering consistency with the entire large-scale system
- Designing and implementing unit test code to ensure robustness
- App performance tuning and quality improvemen
- Proposals for product planning, technology selection, and design that leverage the expertise of a developer
- Collaboration with team members through code reviews and technical discussions, and sharing of technical knowledge
- Improvement of development documentation and continuous improvement of the development process
- Global development in collaboration with development teams in multiple locations including Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam
Required Skills:
- Practical development experience using Kotlin (5 years or more)
- Team development with code reviews
- Practical experience with modern Android development methodologies such as Jetpack Compose and Kotlin Coroutines.

Working Hours: Flextime
Working Style: Hybrid Working Style (3 days in office set by Division)
