A Global IT service firm is looking for a System Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system design, requirements gathering, and decomposition, with the ability to create comprehensive system architectures and integrate hardware and software components.
Responsibilities:
- System Design & Development: Design and define systems ensuring that all components work together seamlessly
- Stakeholder Interaction: Gather and interpret stakeholder needs, converting them into functional, non-functional, and interface requirements
- System Decomposition: Break down stakeholder requirements into system-level specifications using functional decomposition, behavior diagrams, and other relevant diagrams
- System Architecture Creation: Develop a detailed system architecture that ensures proper interaction and integration of hardware and software components within the vehicle's overall system architecture
- Documentation & Reporting: Produce comprehensive system documentation, including requirements, design specifications, test reports, and technical presentations
- Traceability & Validation: Maintain traceability of requirements and map system architecture elements to validation criteria to ensure system integrity
Required Skills:
- System Design & Analysis: Strong knowledge of system design, analysis, and safety concepts
- Requirements Engineering: Ability to gather stakeholder needs and translate them into clear requirements using various diagrams
- System Decomposition & Integration: Skilled in breaking down complex requirements and integrating hardware and software into a cohesive system
- Documentation & Tools: Proficient in creating system documentation and experienced with tools like IBM DOORs NG, EWM, Rhapsody, and others
- Domain Expertise: Experience in automotive systems such as Cockpit, IVI, ADAS, BCM, and Powertrain
