A Foreign IT services consulting firm is seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Manager to support one of the ongoing projects, in the System & Application Maintenance Team.
Responsibilities:
- Test Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure the quality of software products
- Test Metrics: Define, collect, and analyze test metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the testing process
- Governance: Ensure compliance with testing standards and best practices and provide governance over the testing process
- Release Management: Coordinate and manage software releases, ensuring that all quality standards are met before deployment
- Defect Management: Oversee the defect management process, including defect tracking, reporting, and resolution
- Agile Methodologies: Work within agile teams to integrate testing activities into the development process
- Jira Management: Utilize Jira for test case management, defect tracking, and project management
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance
- Testing Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews of test cases, test scripts, and test results to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Test Data Management: Manage and maintain test data to ensure it is accurate, relevant, and secure
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business and product owners to conduct walkthroughs and ensure alignment on testing requirements and outcomes
Required Skills:
- 10+ years in software testing, with a focus on test metrics, test planning, and governance
- Experience with automated testing tools
- Exposure to the life insurance industry is very much required
- Proficiency in Jira, defect management tools, and agile methodologies
- Leadership Skills Proven experience in leading and mentoring testing teams
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB)

Working Hours : 9:00-18:00 (Monday to Friday)
