A Foreign IT services consulting firm is seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to support one of the ongoing projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Java based applications and microservices
- Engage in the full software development lifecycle – from requirements gathering and system design to implementation, testing, and production deployment
- Utilize frameworks such as Spring Boot, Jakarta EE, Hibernate/JPA
- Build and integrate RESTful/SOAP web services
- Experience with testing is a plus (automated testing UT, ITa, ITb, and E2E testing etc)
- Conduct static code analysis, security, and performance testing to ensure high-quality code
- Troubleshoot complex performance issues and finetune Java applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional, multilingual teams including designers, QA testers, and product managers
- Conduct code reviews and participate in agile ceremonies like sprint planning and standups
- Support deployment and operation of applications on on-premises and/or cloud environments
- Contribute to continuous process improvements and knowledge sharing within the team
- Stay upto-date with the latest Java and software development trends and tools
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java development in enterprise environments
- Strong proficiency with Java frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, Jakarta EE)
- Solid understanding of web services (REST/SOAP) and API integration
- Experience in performance tuning, debugging, and production support
- Familiarity with containerization and cloud deployment is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
