A Global IT service firm is looking for a Network Data Admin .
Responsibilities:
- Plan, maintain, and troubleshoot complex LAN/WAN networks, including core, distribution, and access layers
- Configure and manage routers, switches, and Nexus devices, including upgrades
- Implement and troubleshoot routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP) and switching techniques (VLAN, VTP, STP, dot1x, Ether-Channel)
- Provide technical support for Cisco Viptela SD-WAN, IPsec/SSL VPNs, QOS, and wireless technologies
- Identify network gaps, perform performance tests, and resolve technical issues
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with various network products: Routers, Switches, Wireless, and WAN controllers
- Strong SDWAN, Cisco ACI, ISR & ASR routers, Catalyst & Nexus switches
- Conceptual knowledge: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, ISIS; RSTP/MST, Link Aggregation, QOS, VLAN/VXLAN
- Expertise in MPLS, VPN, DMVPN, P2P links for WAN
- Proficient in Cisco and Aruba wireless controllers/APs
- Experience with SolarWinds, Cisco Prime for monitoring
- Skilled in LAN & WAN troubleshooting, fault localization
- Proficient in installation, configuration, IOS upgrades, and applying hotfixes for network devices
