Description
A Foreign IT services consulting firm is seeking a highly skilled Senior QA/Test Engineer to support one of the ongoing projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute all phases of testing – from requirements analysis to test planning, execution, and defect tracking
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Unit, Integration (ITa/ITb), End-to-End (E2E), Security, and Performance testing
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand functional and nonfunctional requirements
- Design comprehensive test strategies, test cases, and test data based on system specifications and business needs
- Perform static code analysis, functional testing, regression testing, system integration testing, and UAT support
- Utilize automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) and CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
- Investigate, log, and track defects using industry standard tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM)
- Ensure test traceability, documentation, and test evidence for audits and compliance
- Proactively identify quality risks and mitigation approaches early in the development cycle
- Stay updated with modern testing tools, methodologies, and trends in automation and performance testing
Required Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in software QA/testing for enterprise applications
- Proficiency in automated testing tools and scripting (Selenium, JUnit, etc.)
- Strong understanding of Java-based application architectures and testing practices
- Experience in performance testing, security validation, and static code analysis
- Familiarity with Agile development and testing in Scrum environments
- Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Prior experience working in the insurance or financial services domain is a strong plus

Working Hours : 9:00-18:00 (Monday to Friday)
Work style: Hybrid (2 days WFH allowed)
